It’s been said women have relationships face to face while men have relationships shoulder to shoulder. As a husband, father of five daughters, and CEO whose work is encouraging men to be the best they can be, I couldn’t agree more.
The truth is men and women are wonderfully distinct in so many ways. This should be a biological, psychological, and cultural cause for celebration! The complementary differences have been understood for millennia and it’s only in recent decades that people who should know better have blurred the binary of male and female.
Some so-called ‘progressives’ are so confused that even evolutionary biologist Professor Richard Dawkins recently reiterated, clearly baffled, that men and women are, in fact, different. We live in strange times.
The importance of men relating shoulder to shoulder plays a huge part in Dads4Kids’ work of building men, growing fathers, and changing generations. It’s why I’m super excited to announce Dads4Kids Men’s Summit is taking place on 28–30 August 2026 at Stanwell Tops Conference Centre just south of Sydney, NSW. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend – watch the video to find out more!
Whether you’re a younger man, an older man, or a middle-aged man like me, you’re invited to join us at the Dads4Kids Men’s Summit in late August. Great keynote speakers Dr Allan Meyer, Andrew Gray, Paul ‘PJ’ Bedwell, and my father, Dads4Kids cofounder Warwick Marsh, will be joining us.
I’ve written previously here and here about how much the Summit has impacted me over the years. Here’s an excerpt from an article I wrote in 2023:
“2018 was a breakthrough year for me. The preceding few years had been particularly difficult, thanks to some bad decisions on my part, both in business and in my relationships.
“Looking back, I had fallen into passivity and failed to see the warning signs around me. Even when I was paying attention, I was slow to take action and came close to losing my marriage and everything I had worked for.
“Thanks to a wake-up call from an old friend, joining an amazing church community, and attending the Dads4Kids Men’s Leadership Summit, everything changed for me and my family in 2018.”
It’s difficult to describe the Summit weekend in words. You could call it a men’s camp or even a conference, but it’s so much more than that. That’s why we call it the Summit. It is a meeting of men, but it’s also a metaphorical peak, an annual pinnacle event for men.
We even created a 10-minute documentary in 2023 to try and capture the Summit on film, but you really do need to experience it for yourself. In the documentary, my friend Peter Lim describes the Summit as “the highlight of his fathering year”. My brother Tay says:
“If someone was thinking about coming to a Dads4Kids event, I would say absolutely do it… It’s something that equips you to be a better man, to be a better person, it’s just a really positive experience that gives you practical things that make life better, so just do it! It’s an awesome thing.”
Held at The Tops Conference Centre, in beautiful bushland, just south of Sydney, 28–30 August 2026 is going to be an amazing weekend of men encouraging one another. You’ll journey through the weekend with a band of brothers, you’ll be strengthened in your faith, and we have some exhilarating activities on offer during the Saturday afternoon too. More details coming soon!
This year I’ve reduced the registration cost for the Summit as I don’t want price to be a barrier for any man to attend. Last year the single registration price was $369. Even though costs have gone up since 2025, this year the Summit price is ONLY $329 per person. We have a further discounted group registration price available too. Bring your mates and if you need assistance or have any questions, please call me on 02 4272 6677.

Yours for building men,
Nathaniel Marsh

“Can you help me?” These were the words I first heard when I picked up the phone. “I can’t see my kids and I don’t know what to do. I feel like giving up and I am thinking about killing myself to shut off the pain.” The matter-of-fact way he said these words told me that this was no veiled threat, but a carefully considered option. Men don’t usually tell you ...
