Aussie Dadding
August 28, 2026

This weekend, my father (Dads4Kids cofounder Warwick Marsh) and I are at Stanwell Tops, just south of Sydney, for our annual Men’s Summit. It’s shaping up to be an amazing weekend of men encouraging one another, and I’ll report more in the coming weeks. If you were unable to join us this year, the Summit is on again next year, 13–15 August 2027, at The Tops. Please save the dates, more details coming soon!
Earlier this month, Dad and I had the pleasure of meeting with Sydney-based father and son team Brent and Alex Maksimovich from Aussie Dadding (pictured above). Like my father and I, these two have big hearts for dads and want to see Aussie dads be the best they can be.
Aussie Dadding’s website and socials are a treasure trove of resources and great content for dads and their kids. I absolutely love what they’re doing. Check out one of their fun ‘sciency’ YouTube shorts below.
Their website tells the story:
Aussie Dadding helps fathers build stronger bonds with their children through practical resources, real stories, community events and dad-focused support programs. Whether you’re a new dad, separated dad, solo dad, stepdad or simply trying to show up better for your kids, Aussie Dadding gives you a place to learn, connect and grow with other dads who understand the journey.
We’re here to talk dad stuff – the raw, the real, and the unspoken. Whether you’re a rookie dad fumbling with nappies, a solo dad doing the double duty, or a seasoned pro scouting for fresh strategies, we’ve got your back.
Aussie Dadding is all about keeping it real. Our guidance comes from lived experiences — practical, down-to-earth advice from dads, for dads. The ‘typical Aussie dad’ is out, and together we’re redefining what it means to be a father in today’s Australia.
It’s an era for dads who are as tough as they are open, as wise as they are willing to learn – helping you to build rock-solid relationships with your kids, bonds that will shape them, you, and the future of our families.
Because every dad, no matter his personal journey, is a hero in the making.
Hear hear!
This week’s Dads4Kids letter is short and sweet due to our Men’s Summit event, but remember: every dad is indeed a hero in the making. If you’re a new dad, a single dad, or a grandad, be encouraged to keep on being the best dad you can be!
Lovework
Follow Aussie Dadding on Instagram, Facebook, or subscribe to their YouTube channel and keep up to date with the great work Brent and Alex Maksimovich are doing. Australia needs great dads more than ever!
We need to encourage and support people like Brent and Alex, organisations like Aussie Dadding and Dads4Kids, who are working hard to help Aussie dads be the best they can be.
Yours for great Aussie Dadding,
Nathaniel Marsh
