About Cody Mitchell
Cody Mitchell is a young historian finishing his undergraduate degree in history, a classical pianist and a keen writer. He was the 2019 winner of the James Dolan Memorial Prize in History. At age twelve, Cody started his own history website,
History’s Page. After running a business with his parents from ages twelve to fifteen, Cody became a youth correspondent for
YourCommonwealth.org.
Before studying at the University of New England, Cody attained a Diploma of Musical Theatre and qualifications in Liberal Arts and Science. You can read his academic works on
Academia.edu. Cody loves reading, writing and exploring ideas, passions that he credits to his home school education.
