Life with two small kids can feel like trying to juggle while running a marathon. What my wife and I are learning is that the best thing we can do at this stage in our lives is to put down a few balls and just run with the ones that matter most.
My new after-work ritual marks a big shift for me. No longer do I get to veg straight away, as in my bachelor days. This is a sacrifice, but it is one that I am willing to make.
Being a Dad and working long hours do not always fit neatly together. You will have to take time to work out how you can balance both in a positive and productive way.
