Great news! This Thursday, 30 May, the movie Unsung Hero will be released in Australian cinemas. I have seen a preview and I highly recommend this movie to you and all your family. Other reviewers feel the same.

Unsung Hero is enjoyable, family-friendly, and inspirational. And it’s a true story about an Australian family. Family-friendly movies like this are not very common. That’s why we want to tell you about this remarkable movie’s imminent release.

See the 2-minute movie trailer at the beginning of my interview with David Smallbone, the father of seven and man behind the movie. David is the real deal and he and his wife are the secret sauce behind his children’s success.

The quality of Unsung Hero, for a relatively low 6-million-dollar budget, is staggering. Most Hollywood movies, including marketing, are sitting at an average of 100 Million dollars. When you critique films, you have to compare apples with apples and not oranges.

Good Indie films are better than the big ones anyway. They are mostly more authentic! This one really resonates! Interestingly, the Rotten Tomatoes audience score was very high at 99%.

A Chinese proverb says, “It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”. That is why we are shining the light for the Unsung Hero movie. Dads4Kids motto remains the same, “Building men. Growing Fathers. Changing Generations.” This movie will help fulfil that goal!

“Dads4Kids completely rejects the very notion of ‘toxic masculinity… We need to focus on fostering positive masculine and feminine roles.” These are the words of Nathaniel Marsh in last week’s newsletter, which were featured in the video interview he shared.

The good news is that Unsung Hero is full of such positive male and female role models. In fact, the unsung hero in this movie is ‘Mum’ as many mothers are!

Dads, let me repeat! This is a truly great family-friendly film for all the family, and you cannot afford to miss it!

Yours for more family-friendly movies
